Hokan-ji

Hokan-ji (法観寺) is a temple of the Rinzai school of Zen Buddhism located in the Higashiyama District of Kyoto. It belongs to Kennin-ji and is famous for Yasaka Pagoda which was first erected in the 6th century. it has five storeys and stands 46 metres tall.
